The objectives of the Cultural Arts Committee are to: Bring together the various cultural interests in the community in order to facilitate communication, interaction and mutual support;

  • Increase cultural awareness among residents of Portola Valley by sponsoring and supporting local cultural activities in the areas of art, music, science and nature, history, horticulture, drama, literature, photography and dance and by providing improved communication about cultural affairs to residents;
  • Pursue a long-range goal of establishing a cultural center for Portola Valley.

Herb Dengler Art Exhibition 

Join us on Tuesday, January 9th, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM, for the opening reception of the Herb Dengler Exhibition at Woodside Priory's Kriewall-Haehl Gallery. The Exhibition, running through February, will feature Herb Dengler's original wildflower watercolors from Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. They were generously donated to the Town of Portola Valley by Ronald Dengler, Herb Dengler's son.

This event is sponsored by the Cultural Arts Committee of Portola Valley.
