Letter from the Mayor - Drought Restrictions Extended
Dear Friends & Neighbors~
We wanted to let you know that on February 2nd, the State Water Resources Control Board extended the mandatory water-use restrictions through October 2016, with a possible modification after a snowpack assessment on April 1st. Click here for the full press release.
Until then, water budgets and banking for California Water Service customers will remain. You can continue to get your upcoming months’ water budgets online at usage.calwater.com and in your bill.
The Town and the Water Conservation Committee are here to help residents meet their water budget. On Saturday, February 20th, the Town will co-host a workshop on California Friendly Landscapes at 9 am at the Town Center (registration required by Monday, February 8th). Click here for more info and email email@example.com to register.
I wanted to personally thank you for your assistance and dedication in meeting the town’s water use reduction requirement of 36%. As the winter months continue, our best opportunities for saving water include checking for leaks and making sure sprinkler systems are turned off.
