Housing Element Study Session - Cancelled

UPDATE 10/7/13: The joint study session of the Town Council and Planning Commission to begin the Town’s work to update the housing element has been cancelled due to a lack of quorum of Planning Commission members.

The remainder of the Town Council meeting as it appears on the agenda will proceed. The Consent Agenda will start immediately following Oral Communications. We apologize for the inconvenience and will send out another eNotice once the meeting has been rescheduled.

Housing Element Study Session for the Town Council & Planning Commission
Historic Schoolhouse (765 Portola Rd)

This study session will start work to update the housing element of the Town’s General Plan.  The housing element will consider the Town’s current population, housing stock and economic trends, and will set forth the Town’s plan for providing housing for all income levels through 2022.

The Town Council and Planning Commission will review drafts of the work plan and schedule, as well as the suggested public participation process.  In addition, staff will present some initial information on key programs recommended for the housing element by the Ad Hoc Housing Committee.  Click here for the staff report.  Members of the public are welcome and invited to attend.
