FAA Publishes OAPM Environmental Assessment
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently published the NorCal Optimization of Airspace and Procedures in the Metroplex Environmental Assessment (OAPM EA). This 126-page document provides information related to the potential environmental impacts that may result from the optimization of Air Traffic Control procedures that would standardize aircraft routing to and from airports in Northern California, including San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Metropolitan Oakland International Airport (OAK), and Norman J. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC).
Interested persons may review the main document, its appendices, and related technical reports by clicking here.
