Welcome to the Sustainability section of the Town's website. The Sustainability section was created to let you know what we are working on at the Town to make Portola Valley a more sustainable community and to connect you with information and resources that can help you make choices about living more sustainably. By working together and making individual contributions, we can improve our community and meet the greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals we’ve committed to under the Mayor’s Climate Protection Agreement and Assembly Bill 32, the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006.
With your help, the Sustainability section will become a useful and relevant resource. If you have any suggestions for resources to include in the Sustainability section or any questions you would like answered in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section, please contact Brandi de Garmeaux, the Town's Assistant to the Town Manager, directly at (650) 851-1700 ext. 222. We thank you for your efforts and look forward to hearing from you!
