Sports Fields Closed for Annual Maintenance and Restoration

The Town’s sports fields below are closed for the annual maintenance and restoration of the turfgrass.

It’s that time of year again to close the Town’s sports fields for the annual maintenance and restoration of the turfgrass. This will help ensure the longevity of the fields for the 2019 play season.

This annual off-season maintenance and restoration will allow the natural turfgrass to recover and for the newly planted seeds to germinate & take root. The following fields are closed to All use starting December 3, 2018:

  • Ford Field (baseball field on Alpine Road)
  • Rossotti Field (soccer field on Alpine Road)
  • Russ Miller Field (soccer field at Town Center)

The fields are scheduled to reopen in time for league and public use in Spring 2018.

  • The softball field at Town Center is receiving minor renovation work this year which will not require closure.
