PG&E Power update 4:30 Oct 10
At 4 pm October 10th the Town was informed that all of San Mateo County has been cleared for PG&E to inspect the lines to prepare them to be reenergized. You may see PG&E vehicles or low flying helicopters conducting visual inspections of all power line. PG&E must inspect each line before they turn on the power to homes and businesses. Power restoration can take anywhere from 36 hours up to 5 days. We will provide new information as it becomes available.
Woodside Fire will be maintaining a community resource center providing internet, cell service, electrical outlets, and TV news coverage at Fire Station 19 located at 4091 Jefferson Ave, Redwood City, tomorrow, Friday Oct 11 between the hours of 7 am to 5 pm. The Portola Valley Community Hall at 765 Portola Road has charging stations available outside, in front of the main meeting room. Town Hall will be staffed during normal business hours for questions; however, there are no building and planning services due to lack of internet at Town Hall.
