Updates from the Town 3/20 – Shelter in Place, registration site for testing, and resources
As you know, yesterday Gov. Newsom has ordered residents in California to shelter in place. Now all of us are in it together to fight the spread of COVID-19.
A reminder about what shelter in place is:
Please do not leave your house for any reason except to meet essential needs. (Medical, groceries, pharmacies…) Do not have anyone come to your house or property unless they live in your household or they provide a life/safety service. Unfortunately, this includes housekeepers, gardeners, nannies or any other household help that does not currently live in your household.
COVID-19 Survey - Testing: If you are concerned that you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please visit www.projectbaseline.com to complete a survey to determine if you qualify for testing. Please note, testing sites require pre-registration before your visit
Questions - non-emergency, non-medical COVID-19: call 211.
Resource for Businesses: For business questions related to the shelter in place health order, call (650) 363-4588 or email healthorderFAQ@smcgov.org.
Compliance Concerns: 911 is NOT for reporting shelter in place violations. Instead, call the non-emergency Sheriff's Office at 650-363-4911

March 25th Town Council Meeting: The Town Council meeting will once again be held in an online Zoom webinar, including phone access (no in-person attendance). You will be able to find the agenda and directions for joining the meeting here.
If we all do our part, it will be shorter and we will save the lives of people in our community.
