On May 27, 2026, Town Council adopted an updated Master Fee Schedule. The Planning & Building Department's fees go into effect on August 1, 2026. All Planning & Building permits and applicable work will utilize the new fee schedule moving forward. The new Master Fee Schedule can be found on the Town's website here: https://www.portolavalley.net/departments/town-finance/master-fee-schedule

 The updated fee schedule was informed by a Comprehensive User Fee study that was conducted by Matrix Consulting Group in partnership with Town staff. This study included in-depth analysis of the cost-of-service relationships among fees for the Town's services.
