Stanford will be doing some tree removal work just outside of Town limits near the I-280 off-ramp and Alpine Road on August 9-12, and again on August 16-20. Caltrans has requested the work to be done at night, so the work hours will be from 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM. They will be taking 10 Eucalyptus Globulus Tasmanian Blue trees down to their stumps.

There may be some impacts to car and bike lanes, but night work is planned to minimize traffic impacts. Traffic controls will be implemented for the I-280 on-ramp to ensure worker and driver safety. Any closures or lane changes will be clearly marked.
