8/11/2026 Update

In order to put the massive concrete vault in place, Cal Water contractor (West Valley Construction) will need to close the road at the construction site in both directions for about an hour, 2 hours tops to set the vault. The Approximate timeline for the closure will be; 9:30AM-10:30AM; or until 11:30AM if any issues arise. 

The fire road gate at the bottom of Valley Oak will be open at this time for residents to come in and out.

CalWater, along with West Valley Construction, will be replacing a 6” valve with a new concrete vault, across 10 Valley Oak St from 8:30AM-53:0PM starting on Monday, August 10, until Thursday, 8/13/2026.

For the crews to safely perform this work, theywill be closing 1 lane off the shoulder on Valley Oak St and there will be professional traffic control to direct traffic.
