UPCOMING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY
📢 Off-Haul Soil: August 17-19.
As part of the ongoing rough grading activities at the Portola Terrace project site, crews are scheduled to begin transporting excess soil from the site on Monday, August 17, 2026. Off-haul activities are anticipated to continue through approximately Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
This will be a relatively short but active phase of construction, and residents and motorists may notice an increased volume of construction trucks traveling along Alpine Road and entering and exiting the project site during the workday.
Trained flaggers will be stationed at the project entrance to actively coordinate truck movements and help maintain safe and orderly traffic flow. The construction team will closely manage truck sequencing and site access throughout the operation, with safety remaining the highest priority.
Dust-control measures will also be actively maintained throughout the work, including regular watering of active work areas and haul routes, along with other best management practices as necessary to minimize dust associated with truck and grading operations.
