1999

  • PV coed soccer league begins
  • Cultural Arts Committee created
  • $125,000 Millennium Challenge Grant established for Open Space
  • PV begins curbside yard waste collection

2000

  • Town buys 3 A. of Springdown for Open Space with option for 3 more acres
  • Neely Winery approved
  • Angela Howard Becomes Town Administrator
  • PV goes into debt for the first time: Alpine Road repairs cause Town to fund $3.5M for 12 months until delayed Federal funds can be disbursed.

2001

  • Valley Inn, formerly Mangini’s bar, is demolished
