The Portola Valley Emergency Preparedness Committee (EPC) maintains an AM broadcast station on 1680 kHz, transmitting 24x7x365 recorded information about being prepared. Should an emergency be declared, the AM radio will be updated accordingly.

Portola Valley CERPP Radio
The Portola Valley EPC participates with the local Citizen Emergency Response Preparedness Program (CERPP) communications on certain Red Cross VHF and UHF frequencies. PV EPC maintains VHF and UHF radios per CERPP, and has Amateur radio communications, too.
