The Bicycle, Pedestrian & Traffic Safety (BPTS) Committee works with the Town Public Works Director, the Sheriff's Department, and residents to foster a community for all users of the public roads. The Committee advises the Town in ways and means for safer conditions regarding motor vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, and road conditions; and it encourages proper traffic enforcement and safe and enjoyable bicycling in Portola Valley as a means of transportation and recreation.
